Birmingham, AL (December 31, 2007) – Adams Produce, a leading fresh produce distributor servicing the Southeast United States, announced today that Michael O’Brien has been hired in the position of General Manager for the Adams facility located in Pensacola, Florida.

Michael’s responsibility will include the overseeing of all aspects of the Pensacola operation including personnel, assets and the performance of the business. Prior to joining Adams, Michael worked for East Coast Fruit in Jacksonville, FL. Michael’s past produce distribution experiences include roles as; General Manager, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Director of Purchasing and Merchandiser.
