Birmingham, AL (March 28, 2008) – Adams Produce, a leading fresh produce distributor servicing the Southeast United States, announced today that Terry Mattingly has been hired in the position of General Manager for the Adams facility located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Terry’s responsibilities will include oversight of the Birmingham operation including personnel, assets and performance of the business. Prior to joining Adams, Terry worked for Fresh Point (formerly Overton Distributors) in Raleigh, North Carolina. Terry’s past produce distribution experiences include roles as Vice President/General Manager, Sales and Shipping Manager.
